There are high chances of altitude sickness to many trekkers since the trek covers the altitude of 4525m. Along with it, there is a need for the trekkers to be familiar with the cold weather. The trip is not suitable for pregnant women and people with an adverse health condition. For children who are under 14-15, it is best to hire porters to carry the heavier equipment, since the children will not be able to manage the heavy loads over rough terrain, and you do not want to have to carry all their stuff as well as your own. The same can be said of elderly people, over sixty may be able to make the long trek to ACT, but they need to be physically fit and have no serious conditions .
The trek can take you to remote areas. Following are the requirements:
Information about the pre-existing medical conditions
Information about heart problems
written prescription of a physician in generic names
Contact lenses and plenty of solution for the needed. Carry backup glasses and sunglasses.
