The major differences between Everest Base Camp Trek and Classic Everest Base Camp are the route and the level of difficulty.
The Classic Everest Base Camp Trek is the traditional route that follows the path that Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay took for the expedition to the summit of Mount Everest in 1953. This route is longer and has a more gradual ascent, making it a good option for those who want to take their time on the trail. It passes through picturesque villages, forests, and scenic valleys, providing trekkers with ample opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of the region.
The Everest Base Camp Trek, on the other hand, is a shorter and more direct route that takes trekkers directly to the base camp of Mount Everest. It is a more strenuous trek and requires a higher level of physical fitness. The route is less scenic, with fewer opportunities to see villages or forests, but it is still a breathtaking journey that takes trekkers through some of the most stunning mountain landscapes in the world.
