Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received by your representative and transferred to the hotel. You will be given a brief orientation about the trek and you will have time to rest and get settled in. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to explore the city or relax at the hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Guided Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley

Your guide will take you on a tour of some of the most important historical and cultural sites in Kathmandu, including the Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. These UNESCO World Heritage sites offer a glimpse into Nepal’s rich cultural heritage and are sure to leave a lasting impression. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3

Drive to Beni (850 m)

After breakfast, you will drive on a tourist bus to Beni, the starting point of the trek. It’s a 6 to 7-hour drive and throughout the journey and you will pass through beautiful landscapes and terraced fields. Along the way, you will get a chance to see traditional villages and interact with locals. After you reach Beni, you will check in to your guesthouse and rest for the night. Overnight in Beni.

Day 4

Trek to Babiachor (950 m)

Today is the first day of your Dhaulagiri Circuit trek in Nepal. You will start with a gradual ascent to Babiachor. The trail passes through small villages and lush forests. You will have the opportunity to witness the traditional way of life of the local people and explore their customs and culture. The trail offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Overnight in Babiachor.

Day 5

Trek to Dharapani (1,400 m)

The trail continues to Dharapani, passing through more villages and forests. The trail is relatively easy and offers nice views of the surrounding mountains. As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more and more breathtaking. You will have the opportunity to witness the traditional way of life of the local people and explore their customs and culture. Day 6

Trek to Muri (1,850 m)

Today you will ascend to Muri. The trail passes through rhododendron and bamboo forests and it offers great views of the surrounding mountains. As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more and more breathtaking. You will communicate with local people and explore their traditions and culture. Overnight in Muri.

Day 7

Trek to Boghara (2,080 m)

The trail continues to Boghara, passing through small villages and terraced fields. The trail is relatively easy and it provides you with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more and more breathtaking. Overnight in Boghara.

Day 8

Trek to Dobang (2,520 m)

Today you will continue your Dhaulagiri Circuit trek on a challenging route as you will be ascending to Dobang. You will be walking through rhododendron and bamboo forests. As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more and more breathtaking. Overnight in Dobang.

Day 9

Trek to Choriban Khola (3,110 m)

Today you will be again walking along a bit more challenging trial. You will be ascending to Choriban Khola. You will be walking through rhododendron and bamboo forests and throughout the journey, you will be witnessing panoramic views of the Himalayan mountains. As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more and more breathtaking. Overnight in Choriban Khola.

Day 10

Trek to Italian Base Camp (3,660 m)

Today you will ascend to Italian Base Camp. Along the way, you will be passing through rhododendron and bamboo forests which offer great views of the surrounding mountains. As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more and more breathtaking. Overnight in Italian Base Camp.

Day 11

Acclimatization Day

Today is the acclimatization day when you will take a rest to help your body acclimatize to the high altitude. You can explore the surrounding area or relax at the camp. It is important to take this day to acclimatize so that you can continue the trek safely. Overnight in Italian Base Camp.

Day 12

Trek to Glacier Camp (4,210 m)

Today you will make your way to Glacier Camp. The trail passes through glaciers and offers great views of the surrounding mountains. As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more and more breathtaking. Overnight in Glacier Camp.

Day 13

Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,740 m)

Your Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek will continue with a climb to Dhaulagiri Base Camp. The trail passes through glaciers and offers great views of the surrounding mountains, including the Dhaulagiri mountain itself. As you gain altitude, the scenery becomes more and more breathtaking. Day 14

Acclimatization Day

You will take a rest day to help your body acclimatize to the high altitude. You can explore the surrounding area or relax at the camp. It is important to take this day to acclimatize so that you can continue the trek safely. Overnight at Dhaulagiri Base Camp.

Day 15

Cross French Pass (5,360 m) and Trek to Hidden Valley (5,200 m)

Today you will cross French Pass, the highest point of the trek. The trail offers great views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. After crossing the French Pass, you will trek to Hidden Valley. Overnight at Hidden Valley.

Day 16

Cross Dhampus Pass (5,200 m) and Trek to Yak Kharka (3,680 m)

Today you will cross Dhampus Pass and trek to Yak Kharka. The trail offers great views of the surrounding mountains. The trail is relatively easy and passes through small villages. Overnight at Yak Kharka.

Day 17

Trek to Jomsom (2,710 m)

Today you will trek to Jomsom. The trail is relatively easy and passes through small villages. Jomsom is the administrative center of the region and offers a glimpse into the daily life of the local people. Jomsom is also known for its apple orchards and is a good place to try local apple products. Overnight in Jomsom.

Day 18

Morning Flight to Pokhara

After breakfast, you will take a flight to Pokhara. The flight offers great mountain views and takes about 25 minutes. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel. Pokhara offers many activities such as paragliding, boat trips on Phewa lake, and visiting the Peace Temple. You can choose to perform an activity today. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 19

Guided Sightseeing in Pokhara

Your guide will take you on a tour of some of the most important cultural and natural sites in Pokhara, including the Fewa Lake, the International Mountain Museum, and the Peace Temple. This is a great opportunity to explore the city and learn about its history and culture. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 20

Drive Back to Kathmandu (1,400 m)

After breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu. The drive will take around 6-7 hours and you’ll pass through beautiful landscapes and terraced fields. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel. You may use this day to do some last-minute shopping or to explore the city. you will organize a farewell dinner at night. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 21

Departure

After breakfast, one of your officials will pick you up and then transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek in Nepal. You will be leaving with a lifetime of memories of the beautiful landscapes, the culture, and the people of Nepal.

The tour gave me such an amazing experience, especially about the cultural, historical and religious values of Nepalis. 2 colleagues and me went on 1 tour of NBM Travel, in 4 nights and 5 days in Nepal (Limbini, Nagarkot, and Kathmandu). Mr Sujit, the Manager was very supportive in arranging a customized tour for us, meeting all our requirements. He is very responsive and professional, with quite good connections to help us (our domestic flight was delayed, he managed to get us on board of an earlier flight)Mr Subash, the Tour Guide, was also responsible and hospitable. He always tried to make us enjoy the trip. He is also expertised in his job, knowing a lot of information about the tourist attractions. He was very ready to help when we want to buy local fruits, and very collaborative when we want to change the schedule.The tour gave me such an amazing experience, especially about the cultural, historical and religious values of Nepalis. In our tour, we also planned to see the Himalayan Ranges from our Hotel in Nagarkot and from Chandragiri Hills, but the weather was so cloudy during our stay. Fantastic We had such a fantastic experience in Nepal with this tour company. We were overwhelmed by how welcoming and warm Sudarshan and his team were from the moment we arrived. We felt so comparable and taken care of in the beautiful Nivas Botique home in Kathmandu. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed delicious, complimentary authentic Nepalese meals and had such a fanatic stay here. We travelled to Pokhara for 2 nights in very comfortable private transportation. We had a fantastic 2 days of activities including paragliding and white water rafting, all organised for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and I couldn’t recommend using this travel company more. We will definitely be back in the future!

绝美风景,期待下次再见 不同于之前在国内看到的雪山,喜马拉雅山系的雪山绵延不绝,又高又长,能见度好的时候能看到一片的雪山,感觉自己第一次离雪山那么近,超震撼的感觉。看到了鱼尾峰的鱼尾巴,好美!雨林里山中的空气超级好,刚好走的那段路像原始丛林一般,很美空气很新鲜,竟然有点爱上这种雨中漫步的感觉~选的旅行社的老板人真的很好!安排的十分妥当,爱上这种异国他乡的快乐啦哈哈!不过这是我们第一次相遇,但绝对不是最后一次相聚!

很棒的旅游体验-Kathmandu 一直有想去尼泊尔旅行的想法,前些日子终于下决心仔细研究了,人生地不熟的,问了朋友的朋友有没有旅行社推荐,就推荐了这家,英文名NBM中文名大山旅游,老板中文名也叫大山,感觉对中国文化很有研究,让我们这种出国游的感觉很安心。老板很靠谱,给安排了懂中文的向导,沟通很顺利,人也很亲切。不得不说尼泊尔景色真不错,适合放松身心,有机会的话还会再来,也会多推荐大山旅游的。

Great if you have limited time to visit the city I was in Nepal in November and after a trek of 10 days I only had 1 and a half day to visit Kathmandu. I found out many places to visit in Kathmandu are far from each other (5 to 10 km) and walking between places is not an option (heavy traffic). So I decided to book a private tour (I was a solo traveller) and had a great experience. My guide Raj took me to all the important places , UNESCO sites, and explained everything about the place we were visiting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time to explore the city. -1 point as the guides will take you to shop/restaurant they have an agreement with, I didn't mind the shop as they don't force you to buy anything, but I would have wanted to choose the restaurant by myself

Cable Car Trip near Kathmandu Me and my friends travelled Kathmandu this July and we went for a short distance trip to Chandragiri Hill. Cable Car took us to Chandragiri hill, which is best to escape from hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. The view of Kathmandu was beautiful as rain cleared up the sky. The guide we were provided was professional and he told us incredible stories of the hill. Overall it was fantastic trip.

Trekking, Local, culture views and sites 5 days in Nepal trek was awesome. We went to Sundarijal, then to Chisapani walking a lot of stairs and then to Nagarkot. We could see beautiful peaks from Dhaulagiri to Everest. People at Sundarijal seem very friendly. All in all, our trek was very nice and we enjoyed it very much.

Amazing Trip! Thank you to the folks at NBM Travel for an awesome trip to Nepal! Shristi was incredibly helpful with coordinating everything and answering all of my silly logistical questions from the moment I booked the trip. My tour guide Mani provided so much support on the tour, from sharing his knowledge about Nepali culture and history, to helping me find souvenirs at a good price, to rearranging our itinerary when we had weather delays. I chose this tour specifically to learn about the many cultures and lifestyles of Nepal and was not disappointed. Each location was so different from the last - Kathmandu is the chaotic capital, Chitwan is a gorgeous jungle where you’ll see animals that you’d never expect to see up close in real life (still can’t believe how close I was to crocodiles and a rhino!), and Pokhara feels like a cute beach resort. We were unable to go to Lumbini due to weather, so we spent an extra day in Pokhara and an extra day in Kathmandu, which worked out fine for relaxing and shopping. Even the bus rides between cities were interesting because you could see examples of life in the countryside and some really cool landscapes. There was a decent balance of sightseeing and free time, and I really liked each of the hotels we stayed at. If you are interested in learning about Nepal beyond trekking, this is a great introduction. They have such an interesting diversity and unique history, I wish more people knew about it!If you go in July, like I did, you’ll likely catch some rain (monsoon season), so make sure you pack accordingly! Rain boots, rain coat, and quick dry pants worked well on rainy days and the boat tour/jungle trek in Chitwan, plus a few pairs of comfortable pants and a pair of sandals for sunny days. Don’t let the name “monsoon” scare you off from coming if this is the only time of year you can go. You’ll still see, do, and eat a lot! (Make sure you have dal bhat and momo while you are here...they are the best!)
