Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You can rest and explore the city on your own. Welcome dinner and overnight sleep in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Kathmandu: Trip Preparation

Today you will attend a pre-trip meeting with your guide and other trekking members of the team to discuss the trip details and preparation. For the rest of the day, you can explore the city and do some shopping for your Island Peak Climbing with Everest Base Camp Trek.

Day 3

Fly to Lukla then trek to Phakding

On day 3, you will take a scenic flight to Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla. It’s the starting point of your Everest base camp trek with island peak climbing. You will make your way along the Dudh Koshi River until you reach the beautiful Phakding village. Overnight in a guesthouse in the village.

Day 4

Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Today you will continue walking along the Dudh Koshi River to reach Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Khumbu Valley and the trading center of the region. You will explore the market throughout the day. Overnight in a guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5

Namche Bazaar: Acclimatization Day

Today is an acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. You will spend the day acclimatizing yourself to the high altitude. You can choose to visit the local monasteries and museums and explore the Sherpa culture and lifestyle throughout the day. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

On day 6, you will walk through beautiful rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche. There is a famous Tengboche Monastery from where you can catch stunning views of Mt. Everest and other surrounding peaks.

Day 7

Tengboche to Pheriche

After having a delightful breakfast, you will continue your Everest Base Camp Trek with Island Peak with a walk through Pangboche and Imja Tse valley to reach Pheriche. It’s a small village that is surrounded by beautiful Himalayan mountains. Overnight in the village.

Day 8

Pheriche to Lobuche

Today you will trek along the Khumbu Glacier and make your way to the beautiful Lobuche village that offers you panoramic views of Nuptse and other Himalayas. Overnight in a guesthouse in Lobuche.

Day 9

Lobuche to Gorak Shep, Visit Everest Base Camp

Today is one of the major highlights of your Island peak climbing with Everest base camp trek as today you will finally visit the Everest Base Camp. You will begin walking to Gorak Shep and then make your way to the camp. You will witness the Khumbu Icefall and other beautiful glaciers from there. You will enjoy camping at night and sleeping in a tent today.

Day 10

Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar and back to Lobuche

Today you will hike to Kala Patthar, which offers a close-up view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, and other Himalayan mountains. You will spend some time and take pictures there. You will then return to Lobuche where you will spend overnight.

Day 11

Lobuche to Kongma La to Chhukung

On day 11, you will cross the high pass of Kongma La and then continue trekking before you find yourself in the beautiful village of Chhukung. Overnight in a guesthouse in Chhukung.

Day 12

Chhukung to Island Peak Base Camp

Today is another major highlight of your Everest base camp trek with Island peak. You will make your way to Island Peak Base Camp near the Lhotse Glacier. You will catch beautiful views of the surrounding mountains there. Overnight stay in a tented camp.

Day 13

Pre-Climb Training on Island Peak Base Camp

On day 13, our experienced mountain climbers will provide you with pre-climb training at Island Peak Base Camp to prepare for the climb. Overnight in the camp.

Day 14

Island Peak Base Camp to Island Peak Summit, Back to Base Camp

Today you will wake up early in the morning and begin climbing Island Peak. The climb is challenging but it rewards you with stunning views of Lhotse, Nuptse, and other majestic peaks. After reaching the summit of Island Peak, you will return to the Base Camp where you will stay overnight today.

Day 15

Island Peak Base Camp to Pangboche

On day 15, you will make your way to Pangboche. You will walk through the Imja Tse valley and witness beautiful mountains on the way. Overnight in a guesthouse in Pangboche.

Day 16

Pangboche to Namche Bazaar

Today you will leave Pangboche and trek back to Namche Bazaar. You will retrace your steps through the picturesque Khumbu valley and witness the stunning mountain scenery once again. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 17

Namche Bazaar to Lukla

You will follow the Dudh Koshi River and pass through small Sherpa settlements, making your way back down to Lukla. This is the final day of your Everest Everest base camp trek with Island peak. Overnight in a guesthouse in Lukla.

Day 18

Fly to Kathmandu

Today you will take a morning flight back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will check in the hotel and take a rest, memorizing the beautiful moments from your long trek. NBM Travel will provide you with a farewell dinner at night. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 19

Final Departure

Your Island peak climbing with Everest base camp trek package is officially over now. Our representative will transfer you to the airport from where you can take your flight home.

The tour gave me such an amazing experience, especially about the cultural, historical and religious values of Nepalis. 2 colleagues and me went on 1 tour of NBM Travel, in 4 nights and 5 days in Nepal (Limbini, Nagarkot, and Kathmandu). Mr Sujit, the Manager was very supportive in arranging a customized tour for us, meeting all our requirements. He is very responsive and professional, with quite good connections to help us (our domestic flight was delayed, he managed to get us on board of an earlier flight)Mr Subash, the Tour Guide, was also responsible and hospitable. He always tried to make us enjoy the trip. He is also expertised in his job, knowing a lot of information about the tourist attractions. He was very ready to help when we want to buy local fruits, and very collaborative when we want to change the schedule.The tour gave me such an amazing experience, especially about the cultural, historical and religious values of Nepalis. In our tour, we also planned to see the Himalayan Ranges from our Hotel in Nagarkot and from Chandragiri Hills, but the weather was so cloudy during our stay. Fantastic We had such a fantastic experience in Nepal with this tour company. We were overwhelmed by how welcoming and warm Sudarshan and his team were from the moment we arrived. We felt so comparable and taken care of in the beautiful Nivas Botique home in Kathmandu. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed delicious, complimentary authentic Nepalese meals and had such a fanatic stay here. We travelled to Pokhara for 2 nights in very comfortable private transportation. We had a fantastic 2 days of activities including paragliding and white water rafting, all organised for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and I couldn’t recommend using this travel company more. We will definitely be back in the future!

绝美风景,期待下次再见 不同于之前在国内看到的雪山,喜马拉雅山系的雪山绵延不绝,又高又长,能见度好的时候能看到一片的雪山,感觉自己第一次离雪山那么近,超震撼的感觉。看到了鱼尾峰的鱼尾巴,好美!雨林里山中的空气超级好,刚好走的那段路像原始丛林一般,很美空气很新鲜,竟然有点爱上这种雨中漫步的感觉~选的旅行社的老板人真的很好!安排的十分妥当,爱上这种异国他乡的快乐啦哈哈!不过这是我们第一次相遇,但绝对不是最后一次相聚!

很棒的旅游体验-Kathmandu 一直有想去尼泊尔旅行的想法,前些日子终于下决心仔细研究了,人生地不熟的,问了朋友的朋友有没有旅行社推荐,就推荐了这家,英文名NBM中文名大山旅游,老板中文名也叫大山,感觉对中国文化很有研究,让我们这种出国游的感觉很安心。老板很靠谱,给安排了懂中文的向导,沟通很顺利,人也很亲切。不得不说尼泊尔景色真不错,适合放松身心,有机会的话还会再来,也会多推荐大山旅游的。

Great if you have limited time to visit the city I was in Nepal in November and after a trek of 10 days I only had 1 and a half day to visit Kathmandu. I found out many places to visit in Kathmandu are far from each other (5 to 10 km) and walking between places is not an option (heavy traffic). So I decided to book a private tour (I was a solo traveller) and had a great experience. My guide Raj took me to all the important places , UNESCO sites, and explained everything about the place we were visiting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time to explore the city. -1 point as the guides will take you to shop/restaurant they have an agreement with, I didn't mind the shop as they don't force you to buy anything, but I would have wanted to choose the restaurant by myself

Cable Car Trip near Kathmandu Me and my friends travelled Kathmandu this July and we went for a short distance trip to Chandragiri Hill. Cable Car took us to Chandragiri hill, which is best to escape from hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. The view of Kathmandu was beautiful as rain cleared up the sky. The guide we were provided was professional and he told us incredible stories of the hill. Overall it was fantastic trip.

Trekking, Local, culture views and sites 5 days in Nepal trek was awesome. We went to Sundarijal, then to Chisapani walking a lot of stairs and then to Nagarkot. We could see beautiful peaks from Dhaulagiri to Everest. People at Sundarijal seem very friendly. All in all, our trek was very nice and we enjoyed it very much.

Amazing Trip! Thank you to the folks at NBM Travel for an awesome trip to Nepal! Shristi was incredibly helpful with coordinating everything and answering all of my silly logistical questions from the moment I booked the trip. My tour guide Mani provided so much support on the tour, from sharing his knowledge about Nepali culture and history, to helping me find souvenirs at a good price, to rearranging our itinerary when we had weather delays. I chose this tour specifically to learn about the many cultures and lifestyles of Nepal and was not disappointed. Each location was so different from the last - Kathmandu is the chaotic capital, Chitwan is a gorgeous jungle where you’ll see animals that you’d never expect to see up close in real life (still can’t believe how close I was to crocodiles and a rhino!), and Pokhara feels like a cute beach resort. We were unable to go to Lumbini due to weather, so we spent an extra day in Pokhara and an extra day in Kathmandu, which worked out fine for relaxing and shopping. Even the bus rides between cities were interesting because you could see examples of life in the countryside and some really cool landscapes. There was a decent balance of sightseeing and free time, and I really liked each of the hotels we stayed at. If you are interested in learning about Nepal beyond trekking, this is a great introduction. They have such an interesting diversity and unique history, I wish more people knew about it!If you go in July, like I did, you’ll likely catch some rain (monsoon season), so make sure you pack accordingly! Rain boots, rain coat, and quick dry pants worked well on rainy days and the boat tour/jungle trek in Chitwan, plus a few pairs of comfortable pants and a pair of sandals for sunny days. Don’t let the name “monsoon” scare you off from coming if this is the only time of year you can go. You’ll still see, do, and eat a lot! (Make sure you have dal bhat and momo while you are here...they are the best!)
