Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Kathmandu Arrival

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal Big Mountain representatives will welcome you and drive you to the Kathmandu hotel in a private vehicle. You will meet our tour guide in the respective hotel for a briefing on our Luxury Everest View Trek Itinerary. Overnight stay at a luxurious hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Exploring ancient historic and religious sites inside Kathmandu valley.

After early morning breakfast in your hotel, you will drive on our private vehicle to visit Boudhanath, the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage site in the valley. The world heritage sites provide you with glimpses of Buddhist culture and way of life as you get an opportunity to experience spiritual energy.

From Boudhanath, we will visit Pashupatinath, another important religious site inside Kathmandu valley. Pashupatinath is a holy pilgrimage temple that gets ample visits from Hindu devotees from all parts of the world. The complex temple designs perfectly blended with culture, art, and religion amaze you providing a unique spiritual experience. Overnight stay at a luxurious hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3

Exploring Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. Hike to Changu Narayan.

Our tour guide waits with a tour vehicle outside your hotel in the early morning. After breakfast, you will ride on the vehicle to visit the architectural city of Lalitpur. The key attraction of the Lalitpur site tour is Patan Durbar Square where the amazingly designed pagoda-style temples, wooden sculptures, and shrines’ miniature statues amaze you with stunning artistic views.

Our next destination is Bhaktapur, the city popular as a living museum for bountiful ancient arts and architecture. We will explore the Bhaktapur Durbar square where the ancient palaces, artistic temples, and statues of King Bhupatindra provide you glimpses of Nepal’s history. Moving forward, visiting different historic sites such as Dattatreya Temple, Nyatapola temple, Siddha Pokhari, Taumadhi Square, and Bhairbhnath Temple, we will drive to Telkot. We briefly relax here and will go for a short hike to Changu Narayan temple. The ancient temple has been listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites and provides an exquisite illustration of ancient craftsmanship on stone, metal, and wood. Overnight stay at a luxurious hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 4

Flight to Lukla (2804m). Trek to Phakding (2610 m).

Our representative will assist you to arrive at the domestic terminal in Kathmandu Airport to board an early morning flight to Lukla. You will relish magnificent scenic views of gigantic mountains from the top during your 30 minutes flight to land at Lukla Airport. Upon arrival, you will be served with a refreshing breakfast meanwhile our representative arranges for your luggage to assign to porters.

We will commence the Everest luxury trek on foot starting from Lukla. The first day of trekking is moderate-easy as we will descend most of the time on our short hike to Phakding. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River and passes by Chaurikharka village occupied by Sherpas. Walking further, the stone-paved path takes you to Phakding village, our trekking destination for today. Overnight stay at a luxurious hotel in Phakding.

Day 5

Trek to Namche (3441 m)

After breakfast, we will resume our trekking along the Dudh Koshi River banks crossing the suspension bridge of the same river several times. Completing the permit confirmation, we will enter the Sagarmatha National Park region from where the trail ascends steeply toward Namche with delightful mountain views of the surroundings. You will arrive at Namche after hiking for 5 to 6 hours from Phakding.Overnight stay in a hotel at Namche.

Day 6

Excursion around Namche. Trek to Everest view hotel and Syangboche airport

After breakfast, the short 2-hour hike will take you to the popular Everest View hotel on the ridge of Syangboche providing an exceptional panoramic view of spectacular massifs. Then, we will visit the Syangboche airport located at the top of the Namche Bazaar. However, the airstrip is still not open for commercial use. After enjoying the mesmerizing view of Namche Bazaar from the top, you will return to the respective hotel. Overnight stay in a hotel at Namche.

Day 7

Trek to Monjo (2835 m)

Today, you will depart from Namche Bazaar descending through Sagarmatha National Park decorating the mesmerizing image of the highest peak in the world in your heart. As you pass by Sagarmatha National Park on your way back, you will have a chance to spot different snow animals including Himalayan Tahr, musk deer, marten, and jackal. Crossing several suspension bridges, the 4 hours walk along the Dudh Koshi River will take you to Monjo. Overnight stay in a hotel at Monjo.

Day 8

Trek to Lukla

After breakfast, you will continue on the trail returning to Lukla alongside the Dudh Koshi River. You will pass through different settlements including Phakding, Ghat village, and Chablung village in 4 hours of descending forested trails to Lukla. Overnight stay in a hotel at Lukla.

Day 9

Flight to Kathmandu

Sadly the day has come to wave goodbye to the majestic Himalayan region. After breakfast, our representative will guide you to Lukla airport from where you will board a 35-minute flight back to Kathmandu experiencing the same magnificent scenic view flying over gigantic mountains. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, you will be transferred to a luxurious hotel. Overnight stay in a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10

Recreation day in Kathmandu

We have separated this day in case your flight is delayed from Lukla due to unsuitable weather. You can spend the day relaxing in the hotel or strolling in the city market shopping for souvenirs.

In the evening, we will host a farewell dinner in a traditional Nepali Restaurant.

Day 11

Departure day

The end of the Everest view luxury trek. Our representative will drive you to Tribhuvan International Airport and wave goodbye wishing you a safe and happy journey back to your home.

The tour gave me such an amazing experience, especially about the cultural, historical and religious values of Nepalis. 2 colleagues and me went on 1 tour of NBM Travel, in 4 nights and 5 days in Nepal (Limbini, Nagarkot, and Kathmandu). Mr Sujit, the Manager was very supportive in arranging a customized tour for us, meeting all our requirements. He is very responsive and professional, with quite good connections to help us (our domestic flight was delayed, he managed to get us on board of an earlier flight)Mr Subash, the Tour Guide, was also responsible and hospitable. He always tried to make us enjoy the trip. He is also expertised in his job, knowing a lot of information about the tourist attractions. He was very ready to help when we want to buy local fruits, and very collaborative when we want to change the schedule.The tour gave me such an amazing experience, especially about the cultural, historical and religious values of Nepalis. In our tour, we also planned to see the Himalayan Ranges from our Hotel in Nagarkot and from Chandragiri Hills, but the weather was so cloudy during our stay. Fantastic We had such a fantastic experience in Nepal with this tour company. We were overwhelmed by how welcoming and warm Sudarshan and his team were from the moment we arrived. We felt so comparable and taken care of in the beautiful Nivas Botique home in Kathmandu. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed delicious, complimentary authentic Nepalese meals and had such a fanatic stay here. We travelled to Pokhara for 2 nights in very comfortable private transportation. We had a fantastic 2 days of activities including paragliding and white water rafting, all organised for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and I couldn’t recommend using this travel company more. We will definitely be back in the future!

绝美风景,期待下次再见 不同于之前在国内看到的雪山,喜马拉雅山系的雪山绵延不绝,又高又长,能见度好的时候能看到一片的雪山,感觉自己第一次离雪山那么近,超震撼的感觉。看到了鱼尾峰的鱼尾巴,好美!雨林里山中的空气超级好,刚好走的那段路像原始丛林一般,很美空气很新鲜,竟然有点爱上这种雨中漫步的感觉~选的旅行社的老板人真的很好!安排的十分妥当,爱上这种异国他乡的快乐啦哈哈!不过这是我们第一次相遇,但绝对不是最后一次相聚!

很棒的旅游体验-Kathmandu 一直有想去尼泊尔旅行的想法,前些日子终于下决心仔细研究了,人生地不熟的,问了朋友的朋友有没有旅行社推荐,就推荐了这家,英文名NBM中文名大山旅游,老板中文名也叫大山,感觉对中国文化很有研究,让我们这种出国游的感觉很安心。老板很靠谱,给安排了懂中文的向导,沟通很顺利,人也很亲切。不得不说尼泊尔景色真不错,适合放松身心,有机会的话还会再来,也会多推荐大山旅游的。

Great if you have limited time to visit the city I was in Nepal in November and after a trek of 10 days I only had 1 and a half day to visit Kathmandu. I found out many places to visit in Kathmandu are far from each other (5 to 10 km) and walking between places is not an option (heavy traffic). So I decided to book a private tour (I was a solo traveller) and had a great experience. My guide Raj took me to all the important places , UNESCO sites, and explained everything about the place we were visiting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time to explore the city. -1 point as the guides will take you to shop/restaurant they have an agreement with, I didn't mind the shop as they don't force you to buy anything, but I would have wanted to choose the restaurant by myself

Cable Car Trip near Kathmandu Me and my friends travelled Kathmandu this July and we went for a short distance trip to Chandragiri Hill. Cable Car took us to Chandragiri hill, which is best to escape from hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. The view of Kathmandu was beautiful as rain cleared up the sky. The guide we were provided was professional and he told us incredible stories of the hill. Overall it was fantastic trip.

Trekking, Local, culture views and sites 5 days in Nepal trek was awesome. We went to Sundarijal, then to Chisapani walking a lot of stairs and then to Nagarkot. We could see beautiful peaks from Dhaulagiri to Everest. People at Sundarijal seem very friendly. All in all, our trek was very nice and we enjoyed it very much.

Amazing Trip! Thank you to the folks at NBM Travel for an awesome trip to Nepal! Shristi was incredibly helpful with coordinating everything and answering all of my silly logistical questions from the moment I booked the trip. My tour guide Mani provided so much support on the tour, from sharing his knowledge about Nepali culture and history, to helping me find souvenirs at a good price, to rearranging our itinerary when we had weather delays. I chose this tour specifically to learn about the many cultures and lifestyles of Nepal and was not disappointed. Each location was so different from the last - Kathmandu is the chaotic capital, Chitwan is a gorgeous jungle where you’ll see animals that you’d never expect to see up close in real life (still can’t believe how close I was to crocodiles and a rhino!), and Pokhara feels like a cute beach resort. We were unable to go to Lumbini due to weather, so we spent an extra day in Pokhara and an extra day in Kathmandu, which worked out fine for relaxing and shopping. Even the bus rides between cities were interesting because you could see examples of life in the countryside and some really cool landscapes. There was a decent balance of sightseeing and free time, and I really liked each of the hotels we stayed at. If you are interested in learning about Nepal beyond trekking, this is a great introduction. They have such an interesting diversity and unique history, I wish more people knew about it!If you go in July, like I did, you’ll likely catch some rain (monsoon season), so make sure you pack accordingly! Rain boots, rain coat, and quick dry pants worked well on rainy days and the boat tour/jungle trek in Chitwan, plus a few pairs of comfortable pants and a pair of sandals for sunny days. Don’t let the name “monsoon” scare you off from coming if this is the only time of year you can go. You’ll still see, do, and eat a lot! (Make sure you have dal bhat and momo while you are here...they are the best!)
