Trip Introduction
Janakpur Dham Tour is considered in the Hindu religion that a person truly gains tranquillity if he/ she are able to go to the four Dham Yatra. Janakpur is deemed one of the four places for the visit. Regarding this holy place as a must in one of our packages in the culture of Nepal, Nepal Big Mountain has taken a step forward to create the Janakpur Dham yatra.
With Nepal Big Mountain, you will be following the best route and guides. The legends behind the place and the history of the architecture will be properly made clear to you by the best guides available. You will gain the best services and accommodation required for you and the best part is that they are customizable to your comfort.
Talking about the place, Janakpur lies in the Terai region of Nepal. As you gradually reach the Janakpur area from the capital, you will see the changing structure of the land from hills to the plains. You will also feel the change of weather as you reach closer to your destination. The places that you step foot on have great importance in the Hindu culture. The first one is the Janaki temple dedicated to the Goddess Sita. It is a three-storied temple built in the Mughal and Koiri style. You will be enchanted with the paintings engravings, colourful glasses, etc of the place.
It is told that King Janak ruled the place as Ayodhya, which was later renamed after Sita, his daughter as Janaki. This temple is also popular as the Nau Lakha Mandir (nine lakhs temple), which was the cost of building it at that time.
You will also get to set your vision on various other places as the Bibaha Mandap where Ram and Sita got married. Ram Mandir will righteously make you a devotee of Lord Ram. Dhanusha Dham is hallowed as the place where Ram conquered Sita by using the bow and arrow heavy enough so that no one could carry it.
Come visit the place that is sacred devotion to the holy book of the Hindus, the Ramayana with Nepal Big Mountain.
