Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

On your first day, on arrival at the Kathmandu international airport, you will get a grand welcome from a representative in formal attire with garlands (Mala) and a traditional Buddhist ceremonial scarf (Khata). This is a traditional and heart-warming gesture to welcome guests in Nepal. After that, the representative will guide you to your hotel. Next, you can explore the streets of Thamel at dusk. Afterward, you can enjoy the cultural dinner at the Tourist standard hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1470m), Duration: 6-8 hrs

A new adventure awaits upon waking up on day 2. We enjoy an early morning breakfast at the hotel; then, we go on a long drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi. This drive will be an adventure as we enjoy the fantastic scenery of the snow-covered peaks, delightful villages, and sparkling rivers. The ride will be smooth up to the Trishuli bazaar; upon ascending to Dhunche and descending back to Syabrubensi, the road gets rocky.  You can also relax in the natural hot spring.

Day 3

Trek From Syabrubesi (1,503m / 4,655ft) to Lama Hotel (2,470m / 8,103ft), Duration: 6hrs

Now, from Syabrubensi, we begin our trekking. We pass the Bhotekoshi and then accompany the Langtang river through lush forests and beautiful step farmings. We then progress further to Bamboo and elevate to Rimche. You will witness numerous rural settlements and bamboo forests; you might as witness the rare sightings of local wildlife, red panda. Then we proceed towards the Lama hotel. Our final destination for the day.

Day 4

Trek from Lama Hotel (2,470m / 8,103ft) to Langtang village (3,430m / 11,255ft), Duration: 6hrs

The journey continues as we trek beside the Langtang river while elevating through lush forests. On the way, you will witness the appealing views of snow-covered mountains. On progressing further, the constrictive path broadens at the Ghoda tabela. Then we pass along the east side of the river as we approach the Langtang valley. We proceed further, passing the scenic views of prayer wheels and flags in the Langtang village. We spend the night here at Langtang village.

Day 5

Trek from Langtang village (3,430m / 11,255ft) to Kyanjin Gompa (3,865m / 12,675ft), Duration: 3hrs

We proceed further from the Langtang village on the very next day. We keep elevating further as we move along the neglected meadows and villages. From the Langtang village, we witness the awe-inspiring views of the majestic Himalayas. The trials encompass numerous tributaries and a glacial moraine. Then we finally reach the renowned Kyanjin Gompa.

 

We devour our lunch here and elevate further to reach Kyajo Ri viewpoint at 5150m/ 19600 ft. From here, we witness the astounding views of numerous mountain ranges and the beautiful Langtang village. You can take this as an additional trek if you wish.

Day 6

Exploration Day at Kyanjin Gompa

Day 6 will be about exploration around the Kyanjin Gompa. This day is specially targeted at acclimatization. You can witness the astounding close views of majestic mountains and pristine glaciers. Additionally, we will visit numerous other sites like the Kyangin Gompa monastery and the Yak cheese factory. You can also add additional treks to this trail, trekking to viewpoints like; Langshisha Kharka and Tserko Ri (5450).

 

You capture awe-inspiring views of the majestic Himalayas, including; Langtang Lirung (7227m), Yala peak(5500m), and Langtang II(6596m). After the rewarding trip, we return to Kyanjin Gompa that evening.

Day 8

Trek from Kyanjin Zomba (3,865m / 12,675ft) to Lama Hotel (2,470m / 8,103ft), Duration: 6hrs

From Kyanjin Gompa, we descend on the route leading us out of the valley. We take the same route that we took to reach here. En route, we cross the Langtang valley and grab lunch at Gora tabela. We will register out checkout at the army check post. After lunch, we proceed further through the lush forest trail and reach the Lama hotel.

Day 8

Trek from Lama Hotel (2,470m / 8,103ft) to Thulo Syabru (2,210m / 8,500ft), Duration: 6-7hrs

On day 8, we descend alongside the bank of the Langtang river and come across a tiny waterfall. Proceeding further, we will witness the rhododendrons and bamboo forests that entails wild lives, including rare wild boar, monkeys, and many other. On this route, you can witness the breathtaking views of the majestic Ganesh Himal. Then we proceed towards the beautiful Thulo Syabru village. Then we move towards Cholngapati, the final destination for the day.

Day 9

Trek from Thulo Syabru (2,210m / 8,500ft) to Cholangpati (3,654m / 11988ft), Duration: 5-6hrs

On day 9, we will ascend toward the Langtang National park’s army checkpoint. Then we proceed further to reach Cholangpati, where we spend the night.

Day 10

Trek from Cholangpati (3,654m / 11,988ft) to Gosainkunda Lake (4,380m / 14,620ft), Duration: 5 hrs

Upon climbing the Langtang Himal (7234m), you witness the renowned Langtang range. Elevating further you witness the majestic mountain range over the horizon. Then we walk an uphill trail to the holy Gosaikunda.

Day 11

Trek from Gosainkunda Lake (4,380m / 14,620ft) to Ghopte (3,530m / 11,265ft) via Laurebina Pass (4,610m / 15,115ft), Duration: 8-9hrs

On day 11, waking up early, we trek to the Laurebina pass. You will witness several lakes, and prayer flags on the way. After that, we descend further through a steep path to Phedi. Then we embark upon a relatively difficult journey from Phedi to Ghopte.

Day 12

Trek from Ghopte (3,530m / 11,265ft) to Kutumsang (2,470m / 8,560ft), Duration: 5hrs

Starting the journey from Ghopte to Tharepati, we pass through diverse flora, including rhododendrons blooms, Juniper groves, and pines in less populated areas. Then we reach Tharepati, and from here, the path descends through a lush forest. Upon walking for some time, we cross a broad meadow where you will witness the ruins of Shepherd’s huts.

 

From here, you will witness astounding views of the Gangchempo and Dorje Lakpa peaks. Now the path gets narrower leading through a forest to Magin Goth(3265m). Right after a short walk, we cross Kuala Bhanjyang (3335m) and descend further to the village of Kutumsang(2470m).

Day 13

Trek from Kutumsang (2,470m / 8,560ft) to Chisopani (2,295m / 7,655ft), Duration: 5-6hrs

Upon elevating from Kutumsang for some time, we come across a descending trail to Gul Bhanjyang (2140m) Village. Then we ascend further to reach a broad path at Thorang Danda. We continue the journey further to Chipping Village through a steep path. We then descend to reach Pati Bhanjyang (1760m). This is a delightful village between Chipping and Chisopani. Then we continue the journey further to reach Chisopani. Chisopani is renowned for serving spectacular views of numerous mountains.

Day 14

Trek from Chisopani (2,295m / 7,655ft) to Sundarijal (1380m / 4530ft) and drive to Kathmandu (1350m / 4450ft). Duration: 4hrs

After walking for a few minutes from Chisopani, we arrive at the Shivapuri National Park Checkpoint. From this point, we descend through a broad path down the hill; then, we walk past some water reservoirs and huge water pipes. After that, we finally reach Sundarijal (1460m). We end our trekking journey here and drive to Kathmandu.

The tour gave me such an amazing experience, especially about the cultural, historical and religious values of Nepalis. 2 colleagues and me went on 1 tour of NBM Travel, in 4 nights and 5 days in Nepal (Limbini, Nagarkot, and Kathmandu). Mr Sujit, the Manager was very supportive in arranging a customized tour for us, meeting all our requirements. He is very responsive and professional, with quite good connections to help us (our domestic flight was delayed, he managed to get us on board of an earlier flight)Mr Subash, the Tour Guide, was also responsible and hospitable. Fantastic We had such a fantastic experience in Nepal with this tour company. We were overwhelmed by how welcoming and warm Sudarshan and his team were from the moment we arrived. We felt so comparable and taken care of in the beautiful Nivas Botique home in Kathmandu. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed delicious, complimentary authentic Nepalese meals and had such a fanatic stay here. We travelled to Pokhara for 2 nights in very comfortable private transportation. We had a fantastic 2 days of activities including paragliding and white water rafting, all organised for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and I couldn’t recommend using this travel company more. We will definitely be back in the future!

绝美风景,期待下次再见 不同于之前在国内看到的雪山,喜马拉雅山系的雪山绵延不绝,又高又长,能见度好的时候能看到一片的雪山,感觉自己第一次离雪山那么近,超震撼的感觉。看到了鱼尾峰的鱼尾巴,好美!雨林里山中的空气超级好,刚好走的那段路像原始丛林一般,很美空气很新鲜,竟然有点爱上这种雨中漫步的感觉~选的旅行社的老板人真的很好!安排的十分妥当,爱上这种异国他乡的快乐啦哈哈!不过这是我们第一次相遇,但绝对不是最后一次相聚!

很棒的旅游体验-Kathmandu 一直有想去尼泊尔旅行的想法,前些日子终于下决心仔细研究了,人生地不熟的,问了朋友的朋友有没有旅行社推荐,就推荐了这家,英文名NBM中文名大山旅游,老板中文名也叫大山,感觉对中国文化很有研究,让我们这种出国游的感觉很安心。老板很靠谱,给安排了懂中文的向导,沟通很顺利,人也很亲切。不得不说尼泊尔景色真不错,适合放松身心,有机会的话还会再来,也会多推荐大山旅游的。

Great if you have limited time to visit the city I was in Nepal in November and after a trek of 10 days I only had 1 and a half day to visit Kathmandu. I found out many places to visit in Kathmandu are far from each other (5 to 10 km) and walking between places is not an option (heavy traffic). So I decided to book a private tour (I was a solo traveller) and had a great experience. My guide Raj took me to all the important places , UNESCO sites, and explained everything about the place we were visiting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time to explore the city. -1 point as the guides will take you to shop/restaurant they have an agreement with, I didn't mind the shop as they don't force you to buy anything, but I would have wanted to choose the restaurant by myself

Cable Car Trip near Kathmandu Me and my friends travelled Kathmandu this July and we went for a short distance trip to Chandragiri Hill. Cable Car took us to Chandragiri hill, which is best to escape from hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. The view of Kathmandu was beautiful as rain cleared up the sky. The guide we were provided was professional and he told us incredible stories of the hill. Overall it was fantastic trip.

Trekking, Local, culture views and sites 5 days in Nepal trek was awesome. We went to Sundarijal, then to Chisapani walking a lot of stairs and then to Nagarkot. We could see beautiful peaks from Dhaulagiri to Everest. People at Sundarijal seem very friendly. All in all, our trek was very nice and we enjoyed it very much.

Amazing Trip! Thank you to the folks at NBM Travel for an awesome trip to Nepal! Shristi was incredibly helpful with coordinating everything and answering all of my silly logistical questions from the moment I booked the trip. My tour guide Mani provided so much support on the tour, from sharing his knowledge about Nepali culture and history, to helping me find souvenirs at a good price, to rearranging our itinerary when we had weather delays. I chose this tour specifically to learn about the many cultures and lifestyles of Nepal and was not disappointed. Each location was so different from the last - Kathmandu is the chaotic capital, Chitwan is a gorgeous jungle where you’ll see animals that you’d never expect to see up close in real life (still can’t believe how close I was to crocodiles and a rhino!), and Pokhara feels like a cute beach resort. We were unable to go to Lumbini due to weather, so we spent an extra day in Pokhara and an extra day in Kathmandu, which worked out fine for relaxing and shopping. Even the bus rides between cities were interesting because you could see examples of life in the countryside and some really cool landscapes. There was a decent balance of sightseeing and free time, and I really liked each of the hotels we stayed at. If you are interested in learning about Nepal beyond trekking, this is a great introduction. They have such an interesting diversity and unique history, I wish more people knew about it!If you go in July, like I did, you’ll likely catch some rain (monsoon season), so make sure you pack accordingly! Rain boots, rain coat, and quick dry pants worked well on rainy days and the boat tour/jungle trek in Chitwan, plus a few pairs of comfortable pants and a pair of sandals for sunny days. Don’t let the name “monsoon” scare you off from coming if this is the only time of year you can go. You’ll still see, do, and eat a lot! (Make sure you have dal bhat and momo while you are here...they are the best!)
