Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to relax and explore the city. Welcome dinner and overnight in Kathmandu.
Today, you will go on a guided sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley, which includes visits to UNESCO World Heritage sites like Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath Stupa. In the evening, you will attend a trek briefing with your guide. Overnight in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, you will take a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi, the starting point of the Langtang Helambu Trek. The drive takes around 7-8 hours and offers stunning views of the countryside, terraced fields, and mountains. Overnight in a guesthouse in Syabru Besi.
You will officially begin your Langtang Helambu trek. You will cross the Bhote Koshi River and ascend through the dense forest of oak and rhododendron. After passing by several small villages, you will finally reach Lama Hotel, where you will stay overnight.
On day 5, the trek takes you through the beautiful Langtang valley, following the Langtang Khola River. You will pass by several traditional Tamang villages and cross several suspension bridges. After a few hours of trekking, you will reach the scenic village of Langtang, where you will stay overnight.
Today you will make your way to Kyanjin Gompa, a famous Buddhist monastery in the Langtang region. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks, including Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, and Dorje Lakpa. You will also visit a local cheese factory and a traditional Tamang village along the way. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.
Today is a rest day, and you will spend the day exploring the Kyanjin Gompa area. You can visit the monastery and the nearby cheese factory, or you can hike to the top of Tserko Ri for panoramic views of the Himalayas. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.
After breakfast, you will trek back to Lama Hotel, retracing your steps through the Langtang valley. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and lush green forests along the way. Overnight in Lama Hotel.
Today, you will trek to Thulo Syabru, a scenic village situated on a ridge overlooking the Langtang valley. After passing through dense forests of oak and rhododendron, you will cross several suspension bridges until you finally reach Thulo Syabru. You will spend overnight there.
Today your destination is Sing Gompa, a small settlement situated at the top of a ridge. You will pass through oak and rhododendron forests and enjoy stunning views of the Ganesh Himal and Langtang range before you reach Sing Gompa. Overnight in a guesthouse in Sing Gompa.
Today, you will trek to Gosainkunda, a sacred lake situated at an altitude of 4,300 meters. The trail passes through rugged terrain and offers stunning views of the Himalayan range. Overnight in Gosainkunda.
Today is oneof the most challenging day of your Langtang Helambu Trek. You will cross the high altitude pass of Laurebinayak (4,610m). It is a long and strenuous day with a steep uphill climb and rocky terrain. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding snowcapped peaks and glaciers.
As you reach the top of the pass, you will witness colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind. From here, you will descend steeply to Phedi and continue trekking through forests of rhododendron and bamboo. You will continue walking until you reach Ghopte, a small settlement with a few lodges.
You will trek to Melamchi Gaon via Tharepati Pass (3,490 m). The trail leads you through lush forests of rhododendron and bamboo, offering you breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. You will cross the Tharepati Pass, which offers stunning panoramic views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges. After descending from the pass, you will reach Melamchi Gaon, a beautiful traditional village, where you will stay overnight.
Today you will trek to Tarkeghyang (2,560 m) through the trail of several beautiful Sherpa and Tamang villages, where you can observe the local lifestyle and culture. You will also pass through beautiful forests of oak and rhododendron, and cross several suspension bridges over mountain streams. Tarkeghyang is a beautiful village that is famous for its ancient monasteries and traditional architecture. You will spend the night here.
You will trek to Shermathang (2,621 m). You will walk through beautiful forests of pine and rhododendron, and offers stunning views of the Himalayan ranges. You will also pass through several traditional Tamang villages, where you can interact with the friendly locals and learn about their culture and way of life. Shermathang is a beautiful village that is known for its ancient monasteries and traditional houses. You will spend the night here.
On day 16, you will trek to Melamchi Pul Bazaar (846 m). This is the last day of your Langtang Helambu trek, and the trail leads you through several traditional villages and beautiful forests. You will also cross several suspension bridges over mountain streams, and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery. After reaching Melamchi Pul Bazaar, you will bid farewell to your trekking crew and spend the night here.
Today you will return to Kathmandu from Melamchi Pul Bazaar. The drive takes around 4 hours, and you will pass through several beautiful villages and scenic landscapes. After reaching Kathmandu, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the city on your own.
You will have a leisure day and a farewell dinner in Kathmandu. You can spend the day shopping for souvenirs or exploring the city, and in the evening, you will have a farewell dinner with your trekking crew and fellow trekkers.
Today your Langtang Helambu trek is officially over. You will be transferred to the international airport for your final departure, marking the end of your Langtang Helambu Trek. You will return home with unforgettable memories of the beautiful Himalayan landscapes and the warm hospitality of the Nepalese people.
