Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,345 meters)

You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. A representative from NBM Travel will be there to meet you and escort you to your hotel. After checking in and freshening up, you will have the rest of the day to explore the city at your own pace. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2

Pre-Trip Meeting and Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

You will attend a pre-trip meeting with your guide and other members of the group. During this meeting, you will be given a brief on the itinerary, the equipment and gear necessary for the trek, and any other information you need to know before starting the journey.

You will then go for guided sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley and visit some of the famous temples, palaces, and monuments, including the Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa (also known as the Monkey Temple), and the Durbar Square. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3

Drive to Syange (1,100 m)

You will take a drive from Kathmandu to Syange, a small village in the Annapurna mountain range. The drive will take around 10-12 hours and offer stunning views of the lush green forests and towering peaks of the surrounding mountains. Overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 4

Trek to Tal (1,700 m)

Today you will officially begin your Paisang Peak and Thorung La Pass trek. You will begin walking towards Paisang Peak. The first leg of the journey will take you to a small village, Tal. The trail passes through lush forests, across rivers, and past small villages, offering scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight in a guesthouse there.

Day 5

Trek to Danaque (1,860 m)

On this day, you will continue your trek to Danaque, The hike today is relatively short and easy, and thus this will allow you to acclimate to the high elevation and take in the stunning views along the way.

Day 6

Trek to Chame (2,630 meters)

Today you will make your way to Chame, a small village located at an elevation of 2,630 meters. You will pass through forests and along rivers and along the way you will witness views of the towering peaks of the surrounding mountains.

Day 7

Trek to Pisang village (3,300 meters)

On day 7, you will continue your Paisang Peak and Thorung La Pass trekking – you will keep walking until you reach Pisang, a small and traditional village surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. You will spend the night in a guesthouse here.

Day 8

Acclimatization and Explore Around

On this day, you will spend the day acclimatizing to the high elevation and exploring the area around the Pisang village. This is a great opportunity to get a closer look at the traditional lifestyle and culture of the local people. The stunning views of the surrounding mountains will leave you mezmarize. Overnight in Pisang village.

Day 9

Trek to Pisang Peak Base Camp (4,420 meters)

On this day, you will continue your trek to the Pisang Peak, reaching the base camp located at an elevation of 4,420 meters. The trail to base camp passes through rugged terrain, offering views of the towering peaks and glaciers of the surrounding mountains.

Day 10

Base Camp to High Camp (5,450 meters)

Today you will trek from base camp to high camp (at an elevation of 5,450 meters). The trail to high camp is steep and challenging but it is worth it as the trial offers majestic views of glaciers and some of the world’s highest mountains. Tonight you will enjoy camping and sleep in a tent.

Day 11

Acclimatization and Explore High Camp

Today you will take a break from Pisang peak climbing and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. This is an important step in preventing altitude sickness and helps to prepare your body for the final push to the summit. You can spend the day exploring the high camp and surrounding areas, taking in the breathtaking views of the high Himalayan mountains and valleys. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 12

Summit day (6,091 meters) and Return to Base Camp

Today you will prepare yourself for the summit day. You will start early in the morning and make your way to the top of Pisang Peak. This would be a challenging day but the views from the summit make it well worth the effort. After reaching the summit, you will return to the base camp, where you can rest and recover after a long and strenuous day.

Day 13

Spare day in Case of Bad Weather

Day 13 is a spare day that is included in case of bad weather. If the weather is clear and you were able to reach the summit on day 12, then you can use this day to rest and relax. If the weather is not favorable on day 12, you will use this day to make another attempt to reach the summit.

Day 14

Trek to Pisang Village (3,300 meters)

Today you will begin the trek back down to Pisang village. This will be a welcome change of pace after the strenuous days of climbing. The descent offers an opportunity to enjoy the scenery you may have missed on the way up, and to reflect on the accomplishment of reaching the summit of Pisang Peak.

Day 15

Trek to Manang (3,500 meters)

Leaving Pisang behind, you will continue your journey through the Annapurna region, making your way to the charming village of Manang. This is a moderate day of trekking, with a gradual ascent through rolling hills and pristine forests. Along the way, you will cross several small streams and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Manang is a bustling hub for trekkers and local residents, and it offers plenty of opportunities for rest, relaxation, and cultural immersion.

Day 16

Trek to Yak Kharka (4,000 meters)

You will continue your journey towards Thorong La Pass, with a trek to Yak Kharka. This is a moderate day of trekking, with a steady ascent through rugged terrain and pristine forests. You will walk through several small streams and witness some panoramic views of the surrounding peaks until you reach the high-altitude settlement Yak Kharka. You have a unique opportunity to experience the harsh beauty of the Himalayan landscape there.

On day 16, you will make your way to Yak Kharka, passing through some of the most stunning landscapes in the region.

Day 17

Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,450 meters)

Today you will make your way from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi. The trail is a gradual ascent and it passes through beautiful forests, across rolling hills, and alongside the Marsyangdi river. This is the last stop before attempting the Thorong La Pass and is an ideal place for rest, acclimatization, and preparation for the final push to the summit. You will enjoy a good night’s sleep before the big day ahead.

Day 18

Cross Throng la Pass (5,416 meters) and Trek to Muktinath (3,800 meters)

Crossing Thorong La Pass is the major highlight of the Paisang Peak and Thorung La Pass trek in Nepal. It is a true test of your physical and mental endurance. The trail takes you to the summit of the pass, which is one of the highest in the world. At the endpoint, you will witness breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. You will then descend down to Muktinath through the landscapes that change dramatically. You will visit the sacred Muktinath temple there. It’s a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and natural beauty of the Annapurna region.

Day 19

Trek to Jomsom (2,715 meters)

On day 19, you will continue trekking toward Jomsom, a small town in the Mustang district that is famous for its apple wine. It’s a major hub for trekkers and travelers to explore the Annapurna region. The trek to Jomsom is relatively easy, and you will pass through several villages and apple orchards along the way. Overnight at a guesthouse in Jomsom.

Day 20

Morning Flight to Pokhara

Today, you take an early morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, one of the major cities in Nepal that is known for its natural beauty. The flight offers stunning views of the Annapurna range, and is a unique and unforgettable experience. Upon arrival, you can spend the day exploring the city and its many attractions, including Phewa Lake, the International Mountain Museum, and the Seti River Gorge.

Day 21

Drive to Kathmandu

On day 21, you will make your way back to Kathmandu. The drive is approximately 6-7 hours, and offers scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Upon arrival, you can spend the evening exploring the city or simply relaxing at your hotel. NBM Travel will organize a farewell dinner at night.

Day 22

Departure

Your Paisang Peak and Thorung La Pass trek is officially over. It’s now time to say goodbye to Nepal as you depart for your home country. Your NBM Travel guide will assist you in transferring to the airport from where you can take your return home flight.

The tour gave me such an amazing experience, especially about the cultural, historical and religious values of Nepalis. 2 colleagues and me went on 1 tour of NBM Travel, in 4 nights and 5 days in Nepal (Limbini, Nagarkot, and Kathmandu). Mr Sujit, the Manager was very supportive in arranging a customized tour for us, meeting all our requirements. He is very responsive and professional, with quite good connections to help us (our domestic flight was delayed, he managed to get us on board of an earlier flight)Mr Subash, the Tour Guide, was also responsible and hospitable. He always tried to make us enjoy the trip. He is also expertised in his job, knowing a lot of information about the tourist attractions. He was very ready to help when we want to buy local fruits, and very collaborative when we want to change the schedule.The tour gave me such an amazing experience, especially about the cultural, historical and religious values of Nepalis. In our tour, we also planned to see the Himalayan Ranges from our Hotel in Nagarkot and from Chandragiri Hills, but the weather was so cloudy during our stay. Fantastic We had such a fantastic experience in Nepal with this tour company. We were overwhelmed by how welcoming and warm Sudarshan and his team were from the moment we arrived. We felt so comparable and taken care of in the beautiful Nivas Botique home in Kathmandu. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed delicious, complimentary authentic Nepalese meals and had such a fanatic stay here. We travelled to Pokhara for 2 nights in very comfortable private transportation. We had a fantastic 2 days of activities including paragliding and white water rafting, all organised for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and I couldn’t recommend using this travel company more. We will definitely be back in the future!

绝美风景,期待下次再见 不同于之前在国内看到的雪山,喜马拉雅山系的雪山绵延不绝,又高又长,能见度好的时候能看到一片的雪山,感觉自己第一次离雪山那么近,超震撼的感觉。看到了鱼尾峰的鱼尾巴,好美!雨林里山中的空气超级好,刚好走的那段路像原始丛林一般,很美空气很新鲜,竟然有点爱上这种雨中漫步的感觉~选的旅行社的老板人真的很好!安排的十分妥当,爱上这种异国他乡的快乐啦哈哈!不过这是我们第一次相遇,但绝对不是最后一次相聚!

很棒的旅游体验-Kathmandu 一直有想去尼泊尔旅行的想法,前些日子终于下决心仔细研究了,人生地不熟的,问了朋友的朋友有没有旅行社推荐,就推荐了这家,英文名NBM中文名大山旅游,老板中文名也叫大山,感觉对中国文化很有研究,让我们这种出国游的感觉很安心。老板很靠谱,给安排了懂中文的向导,沟通很顺利,人也很亲切。不得不说尼泊尔景色真不错,适合放松身心,有机会的话还会再来,也会多推荐大山旅游的。

Great if you have limited time to visit the city I was in Nepal in November and after a trek of 10 days I only had 1 and a half day to visit Kathmandu. I found out many places to visit in Kathmandu are far from each other (5 to 10 km) and walking between places is not an option (heavy traffic). So I decided to book a private tour (I was a solo traveller) and had a great experience. My guide Raj took me to all the important places , UNESCO sites, and explained everything about the place we were visiting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has limited time to explore the city. -1 point as the guides will take you to shop/restaurant they have an agreement with, I didn't mind the shop as they don't force you to buy anything, but I would have wanted to choose the restaurant by myself

Cable Car Trip near Kathmandu Me and my friends travelled Kathmandu this July and we went for a short distance trip to Chandragiri Hill. Cable Car took us to Chandragiri hill, which is best to escape from hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. The view of Kathmandu was beautiful as rain cleared up the sky. The guide we were provided was professional and he told us incredible stories of the hill. Overall it was fantastic trip.

Trekking, Local, culture views and sites 5 days in Nepal trek was awesome. We went to Sundarijal, then to Chisapani walking a lot of stairs and then to Nagarkot. We could see beautiful peaks from Dhaulagiri to Everest. People at Sundarijal seem very friendly. All in all, our trek was very nice and we enjoyed it very much.

Amazing Trip! Thank you to the folks at NBM Travel for an awesome trip to Nepal! Shristi was incredibly helpful with coordinating everything and answering all of my silly logistical questions from the moment I booked the trip. My tour guide Mani provided so much support on the tour, from sharing his knowledge about Nepali culture and history, to helping me find souvenirs at a good price, to rearranging our itinerary when we had weather delays. I chose this tour specifically to learn about the many cultures and lifestyles of Nepal and was not disappointed. Each location was so different from the last - Kathmandu is the chaotic capital, Chitwan is a gorgeous jungle where you’ll see animals that you’d never expect to see up close in real life (still can’t believe how close I was to crocodiles and a rhino!), and Pokhara feels like a cute beach resort. We were unable to go to Lumbini due to weather, so we spent an extra day in Pokhara and an extra day in Kathmandu, which worked out fine for relaxing and shopping. Even the bus rides between cities were interesting because you could see examples of life in the countryside and some really cool landscapes. There was a decent balance of sightseeing and free time, and I really liked each of the hotels we stayed at. If you are interested in learning about Nepal beyond trekking, this is a great introduction. They have such an interesting diversity and unique history, I wish more people knew about it!If you go in July, like I did, you’ll likely catch some rain (monsoon season), so make sure you pack accordingly! Rain boots, rain coat, and quick dry pants worked well on rainy days and the boat tour/jungle trek in Chitwan, plus a few pairs of comfortable pants and a pair of sandals for sunny days. Don’t let the name “monsoon” scare you off from coming if this is the only time of year you can go. You’ll still see, do, and eat a lot! (Make sure you have dal bhat and momo while you are here...they are the best!)
